Who we are
SFA has been advocating for and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities since 1984 in Sarnia-Lambton, Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex. Our dedicated employees support individuals from Grand Bend to Windsor, and all parts in-between.
We have a long history of thinking outside of the box and finding ways to support individuals, families and employees to meet their unique needs.
We may be small, but we are full of heart. Our size has allowed us to keep a home atmosphere and truly provide individualized supports for people with developmental disabilities.
Welcome to our family.
Our Mission
SFA is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities by providing a safe, caring and inclusive environment to empower choice, independence and life fulfillments.

We are actively seeking volunteers to serve on our Board of Directors. If you live in an area we serve, are community minded and committed to helping people with developmental disabilities live their best lives, we’d love to have you on our board.
