We may be small, but we are full of heart.
The size of our organization has allowed us to keep a home atmosphere and truly provide individualized supports to
people with developmental disabilities.
SFA has been supporting individuals with developmental disabilities since 1984. We have deep roots in the communities we serve in Sarnia-Lambton, Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex.
Our team is committed to helping provide the best possible life for the people we support. We take a family-orientated approach to how we support both individuals and our employees.
We put people first because we care.

Why people believe in us
"My son has been a resident of "the farm" home near Petrolia for a number of years and I have found the staff to be very thoughtful and accommodating. "
Terry C
"SFA is a trusted, compassionate and understanding agency. The staff are great at listening to the individual to help them create and enjoy an ordinary everyday life!"
Sharp Family
"Our son has been associated with SFA for several decades.
The creative way they approach solutions, rather than the often rigid and myopic vision of other service organizations, has been a huge benefit to our family and son."
Janice A.
"SFA has been responsive, attentive and genuine in assisting our family providing the resources we need to care for our brother."
